Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Fry Cook Assistants to join our bustling team in Northern Quarter, Manchester. This is an immediate hire position, offering weekly pay for dedicated individuals ready to jump into a dynamic kitchen environment. You’ll be instrumental in preparing our iconic, perfectly cooked fries, ensuring every customer receives the Five Guys quality they expect and love.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook hand-cut fries to Five Guys' exact standards and recipes.
- Operate fryers safely and efficiently, monitoring oil temperature and quality.
- Manage and maintain inventory of potatoes and peanut oil, ensuring proper storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including equipment and cooking areas.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist other kitchen staff as needed during peak hours.
- Ensure timely preparation of all fry orders.
- Contribute to a positive and energetic team atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations or willingness to learn quickly.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25kg.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is a plus, but not required.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or 2).
- A passion for quality food and customer satisfaction.
