Job Description
Are you passionate about video games and have a keen eye for detail? Ubisoft is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as an Immediate Hire Playtester. This is an exciting opportunity to be among the first to experience our unreleased titles and provide crucial feedback that shapes the future of gaming. Successful candidates will undergo an essential orientation period before diving into testing, ensuring you’re fully equipped to contribute to our dynamic development process.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and identify bugs, glitches, and other issues in pre-release game builds.
- Provide detailed, constructive, and clear feedback on gameplay, mechanics, UI, and overall user experience.
- Document findings accurately using internal bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate effectively with game development teams to communicate issues and suggest improvements.
- Adhere strictly to confidentiality agreements regarding unreleased game content.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
- Verify bug fixes and regressions to ensure issues are resolved.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated passion for video games across various genres.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot subtle inconsistencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to follow instructions and execute test cases precisely.
- Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to identifying issues.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with different gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).

- Prior experience in quality assurance or a testing role (even informal).
- Ability to play games for extended periods without fatigue.
