Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly of various types of furniture, including beds, tables, chairs, and cabinets, following provided instructions and diagrams.
- Unpack furniture components and inspect them for any damage or defects prior to assembly.
- Organize and maintain tools and equipment in a clean and safe working environment.
- Handle furniture carefully to prevent damage during assembly, moving, and storage.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of assembly tasks.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with moving assembled furniture within the showroom or warehouse as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy furniture (up to 50 lbs) with assistance.
- Basic dexterity and mechanical aptitude (willingness to learn is key).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor role (not assembly specific).
