Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Beverage Canning Line Workers to join our fast-paced production facility in Dewsbury. This is an immediate hire opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. You will be an integral part of our canning operation, ensuring the smooth flow of production and the excellent quality of our world-renowned beverages. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a physically demanding setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor canning machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
- Perform quality checks on products and packaging to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Load raw materials and packaging supplies onto the production line.
- Monitor product flow, identify bottlenecks, and make minor adjustments to maintain efficiency.
- Assist with machinery setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all hygiene and safety regulations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Package and prepare finished products for warehousing and distribution.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25kg.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and a willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting, ideally within the food or beverage industry.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with machine operation.
