Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and data-driven Online SEO Content Strategist to join our Growth Marketing team. This unique role focuses specifically on developing and executing SEO content strategies designed to resonate with and attract 17-year-old teens. You will be instrumental in identifying key topics, trends, and search behaviors within this demographic, translating insights into compelling content that drives organic traffic and engagement. This position requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, content marketing, and the ability to connect with a youth audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO content strategies targeting 17-year-old teens across various digital platforms.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities and gaps relevant to the target demographic.
- Oversee content creation, ensuring it is optimized for search engines, engaging for teens, and aligns with brand voice and educational goals.
- Analyze SEO performance metrics (traffic, rankings, conversions) and provide actionable insights to continuously improve content strategy.
- Collaborate closely with content creators, social media managers, product teams, and other marketing specialists.
- Stay current with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and digital marketing strategies, especially those impacting youth audiences.
- Monitor teen culture, online trends, and educational needs to inform content development.
- Report on the effectiveness of SEO content initiatives and contribute to overall growth marketing objectives.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in SEO content strategy or digital marketing, with a focus on youth audiences (Gen Z).
- Proven track record of increasing organic traffic and engagement through SEO content.
- Expertise in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
- Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor messages to a teen audience.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Experience in the education technology (EdTech) sector.
- Familiarity with UX principles and how they intersect with SEO.
- Understanding of social media trends and platforms popular with 17-year-olds.
