Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Media Search Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on optimizing search visibility for our clients, specifically within Google’s ecosystem. You will be instrumental in analyzing search performance, identifying trends, and implementing strategies that enhance our clients’ presence in search results. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of search engine results pages (SERPs) and performance data, with a strong focus on Google's algorithms and tools.
- Identify opportunities for improving organic search visibility and click-through rates for client websites and content.
- Develop and implement tactical SEO recommendations, including keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO audits, and link building strategies.
- Monitor, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to search visibility, traffic, and conversions.
- Collaborate closely with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends, Google algorithm updates, and emerging search technologies.
- Assist in the creation of comprehensive reports and presentations for clients, outlining performance and strategic recommendations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or media analysis.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Strong understanding of search engine ranking factors, algorithms, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective SEO strategies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Google Ads or Google Analytics certifications.
- Experience with enterprise-level SEO platforms.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
- Experience working in an agency environment or managing multiple client accounts.
