Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking HVAC Installation Laborer to join our team in New Port Richey, Florida. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead HVAC technicians and installers with the installation of new HVAC systems.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and positioning equipment.
- Prepare worksites, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Run and connect refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and ductwork under supervision.
- Handle and transport materials and tools to and from job sites.
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including hot and humid environments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Excellent physical stamina and agility.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in construction, general labor, or a related trade.
- Familiarity with HVAC components or systems.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or schematics.
