Job Description
We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Nail Bar Host to be the first point of contact for our valued clients. As a Nail Bar Host, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere and ensuring the smooth operation of our reception area. Your primary responsibilities will include managing appointments, greeting guests, answering inquiries, and assisting with various administrative tasks, all while upholding Sugarcoat’s high standards of service and luxury. This role offers flexible shifts to accommodate various schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all clients and visitors upon arrival.
- Efficiently manage the appointment book, scheduling and confirming client appointments.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address client inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Process payments and handle transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the reception area and waiting lounge.
- Assist clients with product selection and provide basic information about our services.
- Coordinate with nail technicians and other staff members to ensure timely service flow.
- Handle client feedback and resolve minor issues with a customer-centric approach.
- Support marketing and promotional efforts by distributing flyers or informing clients about special offers.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a high-end or service-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and point-of-sale (POS) systems (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional client experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a salon, spa, or hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with various nail care services and beauty products.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
