Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hair Dye Production Worker to join our manufacturing team in Pasadena. This full-time factory role involves shift work and is crucial to our production of high-quality hair coloring products. You will be responsible for various stages of the production process, from ingredient mixing and processing to packaging and quality control, ensuring that all products meet our rigorous standards. This position requires adherence to safety protocols, efficiency in production, and a collaborative spirit within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment used in hair dye manufacturing.
  • Accurately measure, mix, and blend ingredients according to established formulas and recipes.
  • Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials and finished products, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Package and label finished hair dye products in accordance with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records precisely.
  • Assist with equipment setup, minor maintenance, and changeovers as required.
  • Participate in shift handovers, communicating important production information to the next team.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and safety procedures.
  • Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurement and calculation.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality for shift work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, especially in cosmetics or chemical processing.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
