Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hair Dye Production Worker to join our manufacturing team in Shawnee, Kansas. In this factory-based, shift work role, you will be a crucial part of our Beauty Care production line, responsible for the safe and efficient manufacturing of high-quality hair dye products. This position requires adherence to strict safety and quality standards, teamwork, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment used in hair dye manufacturing.
  • Prepare raw materials, measure, and mix ingredients according to precise formulations and production schedules.
  • Ensure accurate weighing, batching, and packaging of hair dye products.
  • Perform quality checks and inspections on products at various stages of production.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions to supervisors.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain efficiency.
  • Complete production logs and documentation accurately and timely.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and formulas accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, especially in cosmetics, food, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Experience operating automated production machinery.
  • High school diploma or GED.
