Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Fill Assistant to join our team in Geelong. This full-time role offers attractive night rates and comprehensive benefits. As a Night Fill Assistant, you will be instrumental in ensuring our store shelves are fully stocked and impeccably presented for our morning customers. Your work directly contributes to a positive shopping experience by making sure products are easily accessible and store standards are maintained. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a night shift team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently unload and unpack delivery trucks.
  • Replenish shelves, displays, and chillers with new stock according to planograms.
  • Rotate stock to ensure products are fresh and within date.
  • Maintain a clean and organised backroom and sales floor during your shift.
  • Operate store equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys).
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with stocktaking and inventory management as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve nightly merchandising goals.
  • Ensure pricing and promotional signage are correct and up-to-date.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items repeatedly (up to 15kg).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
  • Experience with stock replenishment or merchandising.
  • Knowledge of store layout and product placement.
  • Current forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
