Job Description
Are you an ambitious 18-year-old eager to kickstart your career in Human Resources? Travis Credit Union is offering a unique opportunity for a motivated HR Trainee to join our Corporate Talent Acquisition team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with no prior experience, providing comprehensive training and hands-on exposure to the world of corporate recruitment and HR operations. You will learn the fundamentals of talent acquisition, employee relations, HR compliance, and contribute to building a talented workforce that reflects our values. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team with candidate sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation and coordinating orientation.
- Maintain and update candidate databases and HR information systems with accuracy.
- Help organize recruitment events and career fairs, representing Travis Credit Union.
- Conduct basic research on recruitment trends and best practices.
- Assist with various administrative tasks within the HR department.
- Learn and adhere to all relevant HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years old at the time of application.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in a career in Human Resources.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
