Job Description

CVS Health is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Supply Chain Associate to join our dedicated team in Provo, UT. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels of pharmaceutical products, over-the-counter medications, and medical supplies.
  • Process orders, manage incoming shipments, and verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders.
  • Collaborate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve supply chain discrepancies, address backorders, and optimize delivery schedules.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date supply chain data, contribute to regular reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify trends.
  • Implement and rigorously adhere to all regulatory requirements, company policies, and best practices related to pharmaceutical handling, storage, and distribution.
  • Proactively identify and suggest opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure data integrity and prevent shrinkage.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Basic understanding of fundamental supply chain principles or logistics operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Previous experience (1-3 years) in a supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or pharmacy setting.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) pertaining to supply chain operations.
