Job Description
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) looking for stability and the opportunity to truly make a difference in someone’s life? Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including ambulation and use of adaptive equipment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Assist with medication reminders.
- Accompany clients to appointments and run errands.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
Required Skills
- Valid HHA certification in California.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a home care or facility setting.
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience with clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
- Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish).
- Familiarity with electronic care documentation systems.
