Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Junior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Albuquerque. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an emerging talent to immerse themselves in complex software development projects with a particular focus on integrating with Google technologies. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, contributing to both front-end and back-end components. Ideal candidates will have a foundational understanding of web development and a strong eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior developers and solution architects to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain front-end user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
- Design and implement back-end services and APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Integrate with Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., Firebase, Google APIs, BigQuery) to build robust and scalable solutions.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, supporting existing applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices, especially within the Google ecosystem.
- Work effectively in an Agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Basic experience with at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Basic experience with at least one back-end language/framework (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django/Flask, Java/Spring Boot).
- Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to new challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., App Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub).
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Portfolio of personal projects or open-source contributions.
