Job Description
Are you passionate about online communities and digital safety? ModSquad is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented WFH Pinterest Moderator to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in maintaining a positive and secure environment across Pinterest communities by reviewing content, enforcing guidelines, and promoting healthy user interactions. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely, leveraging your keen eye and commitment to online well-being from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor user-generated content on Pinterest (pins, comments, profiles) for compliance with community guidelines and terms of service.
- Identify and take appropriate action on objectionable content, including spam, hate speech, harassment, nudity, and other harmful material.
- Escalate complex or sensitive issues to senior moderators or management as per established protocols.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of moderation processes and guidelines by providing feedback and insights.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in content review while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Stay informed about current social media trends, platform updates, and best practices in online safety and content moderation.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to make sound judgments quickly and consistently under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in navigating and using social media platforms, especially Pinterest.
- Demonstrated understanding of online community guidelines, safety protocols, and privacy best practices.
