Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Diversity & Inclusion Assistant with a strong HR focus to join our team remotely. This role is pivotal in supporting Microsoft’s global D&I initiatives, specifically within our Human Resources department. You will assist in the coordination, execution, and tracking of various D&I programs, events, and communications, ensuring our efforts contribute to a more inclusive and equitable workplace culture. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and scheduling of D&I events, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Support the development and distribution of D&I related communications and resources.
  • Maintain and update D&I data, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Help prepare presentations and reports on D&I progress and metrics for various stakeholders.
  • Conduct research on best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Provide administrative support to the D&I team and HR partners.
  • Manage internal D&I calendars and communication channels.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners to integrate D&I principles into HR processes.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated interest or foundational knowledge in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience (internship or entry-level) in HR, D&I, or a related administrative role.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and data management tools.
  • Experience working in a remote environment.
