Job Description
As an Apple Creative with a focus on Photography & Video Teaching, you will be a passionate guide, inspiring customers to unleash their creativity. You’ll lead hands-on sessions, demonstrating how to capture stunning photos and create compelling videos using Apple products and software. Your role is to educate, inspire, and empower users, making complex creative tools accessible and enjoyable for everyone. You will share your expertise and enthusiasm, fostering a vibrant learning environment and building strong relationships with our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging group and one-on-one sessions on photography and video techniques using Apple devices and software (e.g., Photos, iMovie, Final Cut Pro).
- Educate customers on product features and capabilities related to visual storytelling.
- Inspire creativity and confidence in customers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced creators.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting related to media creation.
- Stay current with the latest Apple products, software, and creative trends in photography and video.
- Collaborate with team members to create dynamic and effective learning experiences.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment.
- Assist customers with product selection and purchases as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in photography and videography principles and techniques.
- Expertise in using Apple products (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and creative software (Photos, iMovie, Clips, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, or train others effectively.
- A passion for technology and a genuine desire to help customers explore their creativity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a teaching, training, or public speaking role.
- Experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Familiarity with professional-level photography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- A portfolio showcasing photography and video work.
