Job Description
Join Spire Healthcare as a Virtual Medical Receptionist, specializing in Telehealth Administration. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized and empathetic individual to contribute to the efficient operation of our remote patient services. You will be the first point of contact for patients accessing virtual consultations, managing schedules, and providing crucial administrative support. Key Responsibilities
- Manage virtual patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations for telehealth consultations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients via phone, email, and virtual chat, providing information and assistance.
- Handle patient inquiries, address concerns, and escalate complex issues to appropriate medical staff.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing inquiries as needed.
- Prepare virtual consultation rooms and ensure smooth technical operation for both patients and clinicians.
- Process patient referrals and coordinate with internal departments and external providers.
- Assist with general administrative tasks to support the telehealth team.
