Job Description
Are you an animal lover with a genuine passion for their care? Pawsitively Purrfect Pet Care is seeking a dedicated and responsible Pet Sitter to join our growing team in Regina. This role involves providing in-home care for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness while their owners are away. Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, fresh water, and administering medication as needed.
- Engage pets in playtime and exercise tailored to their specific needs and breed.
- Walk dogs regularly and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Clean litter boxes, pet areas, and address any pet-related accidents.
- Maintain communication with pet owners, providing updates and photos via our mobile app.
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns immediately to owners and management.
- Ensure the security of clients' homes during visits.
- Adhere to all client instructions and Pawsitively Purrfect Pet Care guidelines.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated love and understanding of animals.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with various pet temperaments and sizes.
- Criminal record check required upon offer of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous professional pet sitting or animal care experience.
- Knowledge of basic animal first aid.
- Experience with administering pet medication.
