Job Description

Capgemini is looking for a Junior Python Developer to join our innovative team, focusing on Google Data solutions. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining data pipelines, scripts, and applications that leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to process, analyze, and manage large datasets. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy Python scripts and applications for data processing and analysis.
- Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
- Collaborate with senior developers and data engineers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and team processes.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing data applications and pipelines.
- Learn and apply new technologies and methodologies related to data engineering and cloud development.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine).
- Understanding of data warehousing principles.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
