Job Description
Are you looking for a stable job with no prior experience required? Premier Foods is excited to offer an opportunity for Unskilled Factory Workers to join our dedicated team in Cheltenham. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive benefits from day one. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to the production of some of the UK’s most loved food brands. Full training will be provided, ensuring you have all the skills needed to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with various tasks on the production line, including loading, unloading, and packaging products.
- Operate basic machinery under supervision after receiving proper training.
- Monitor product quality and report any defects or issues to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all hygiene and safety standards.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders to ensure efficient production flow.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Perform general labour duties as assigned to support factory operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good attention to detail.
- Basic physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15kg.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (not essential, but a plus).
- A positive attitude and eagerness to contribute.
