As a Courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of packages, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to all operational standards. Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to pick up and deliver packages according to established routes and schedules.
- Scan packages accurately, obtain customer signatures, and handle all delivery exceptions professionally.
- Provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with a positive attitude.
- Load and unload vehicles, organize packages for efficient delivery, and perform routine vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and traffic laws at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the assigned vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 75 lbs regularly and up to 150 lbs with assistance.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or driving role.
- Familiarity with local geographical area (Costa Mesa and surrounding regions).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
