Key Responsibilities
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, including data entry, insurance billing, and medication preparation.
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and managing inventory.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering patient questions, and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy workstation.
- Receive and stock medication orders, verifying accuracy of incoming shipments.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions with precision.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification from a recognized organization (e.g., PTCB, NHA).
- Previous experience (6+ months) working as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or outpatient setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and prescription drug names.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
