Job Description
We are seeking bright and enthusiastic students for a Google Tech Internship. This unique opportunity is designed for individuals passionate about technology and interested in contributing to critical internal systems that power Google’s recruitment efforts, specifically focusing on optimizing our job postings for student audiences. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers on projects related to search engine optimization for career pages, data analysis for candidate outreach, and the development of tools that enhance job discoverability. This role provides hands-on experience with real-world problems, mentorship, and a chance to experience Google’s innovative culture firsthand.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and optimization of internal tools and systems for job posting and recruitment platforms.
- Conduct research and analysis on search engine algorithms and best practices for job discoverability.
- Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to design and implement new features.
- Contribute to data collection and analysis efforts to measure the effectiveness of student outreach initiatives.

Required Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship experience in software development or a related technical role.
- Familiarity with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and front-end frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
