Job Description
As a Professional Fleet Groomer – Mobile Services Pro, you will be a pivotal member of our dynamic mobile detailing team, responsible for providing exceptional on-site grooming services to our valued corporate fleet clients throughout the Vancouver metropolitan area. This role demands a meticulous eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work autonomously to maintain the pristine condition of various vehicles, ranging from executive sedans to light commercial trucks. You will be a brand ambassador for Detailing Knights, representing our commitment to professionalism and expertise at every client interaction and ensuring complete satisfaction with our superior service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive interior and exterior detailing services for client fleet vehicles, including thorough washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and sanitizing to the highest standards.
- Operate and maintain specialized detailing equipment and tools safely and effectively, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Travel efficiently and safely to various client locations throughout the Vancouver area to provide convenient on-site mobile detailing services.
- Proactively manage the inventory of detailing supplies and ensure the mobile unit is always fully stocked, organized, and prepared for daily operations.
- Adhere strictly to established quality standards and complete services within specified timelines to consistently meet and exceed client expectations.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients regarding service details, vehicle conditions, and any special requests.
- Accurately complete and submit service records and reports promptly after each job.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the company vehicle and equipment used for mobile services.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in automotive detailing or professional fleet grooming.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for vehicle aesthetics and cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage time efficiently to complete tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), crouching, and prolonged standing and kneeling.
- Knowledge of various detailing products, tools, and their appropriate application.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in automotive detailing or a related professional field.
- Experience with advanced detailing techniques such as paint correction, ceramic coatings, or protective film application.
- Familiarity with a diverse range of fleet vehicle types, including commercial vans and specialty vehicles.
- Proficiency in using power washers, orbital polishers, steam cleaners, and other industry-standard detailing equipment.
- Prior experience in a mobile service role.
