Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Shopify Associate to join our expanding e-commerce team. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere within Canada. As a Shopify Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our online store, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for product catalog management, content updates, order fulfillment support, and contributing to overall site performance and sales growth. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing on the Shopify platform.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of all product data and content across the online store.
- Assist with the execution of promotional campaigns, sales, and new product launches.
- Monitor website performance, identifying and reporting any issues or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and customer service teams to support e-commerce objectives.
- Provide support for order fulfillment processes, including tracking, returns, and exchanges.
- Contribute to SEO efforts by optimizing product content and metadata.
- Stay informed about Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and best practices.
Required Skills
- 1+ year of direct experience working with the Shopify platform (Shopify Plus preferred).
- Proficiency in managing product catalogs, collections, and page content.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce principles and online retail operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HTML/CSS for minor website adjustments.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or other e-commerce analytics tools.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for product optimization.
- Previous experience in a retail or e-commerce environment.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
