Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Returns Processor – Picker Packer to join our dynamic team in a clean, modern office-style setting. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing returned merchandise. You will ensure that items are correctly sorted, logged into our inventory system, and prepared for their next stage, whether it’s restocking, return to vendor, or disposal. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining a highly organized and efficient workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive and scan incoming returned merchandise, verifying product details against manifest documents.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on returned products to assess their condition and determine appropriate disposition (e.g., resellable, damaged, incomplete).
- Sort and categorize items into designated locations for restocking, return-to-vendor, repair, or discard, following established guidelines.
- Safely and efficiently pack items according to specific packaging and shipping standards.
- Maintain precise inventory records by utilizing internal systems and handheld scanning devices.
- Ensure the returns processing area remains tidy, organized, and compliant with all safety and cleanliness regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily processing goals and uphold quality standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move packages up to 15 kg for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and operating scanning equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow clear instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
