Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Executive SUV Driver to join our elite team in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional driving skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and a unwavering commitment to client safety and comfort in all weather conditions. This role involves providing premium chauffeured services to our corporate and private clients, ensuring timely, secure, and luxurious transportation experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport clients to their destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain a pristine and fully functional luxury SUV, conducting regular inspections and ensuring it is always ready for service.
- Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating client needs and maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Navigate routes effectively, utilizing GPS and real-time traffic information to ensure punctuality and avoid delays.
- Be proficient in defensive driving techniques and able to operate vehicles safely in adverse weather conditions (rain, snow, ice, fog).
- Assist clients with luggage and other personal belongings.
- Maintain accurate driving logs and records.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and privacy standards.
- Represent Carey International with the highest degree of professionalism at all times.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional chauffeuring or executive driving experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven ability to drive safely and confidently in all weather conditions.
- Excellent knowledge of the New Jersey and New York metropolitan area roads and traffic patterns.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift heavy luggage (up to 50 lbs).
- Proficiency with navigation systems and smartphone applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced defensive driving or evasive driving certification.
- Prior experience transporting high-profile executives or VIPs.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
- Bi-lingual or multi-lingual abilities.
