Job Description

Amazon’s Pasadena Fulfillment Center is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teen Warehouse Packers to join our team! This entry-level position is perfect for students or young individuals eager to learn the ropes of logistics and contribute to our mission of delivering smiles to customers. We offer a flexible 4-day work week option to accommodate your school schedule and personal commitments. You’ll be part of a team that ensures products are correctly picked, packed, and shipped to customers, all while adhering to the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) after proper training (if applicable and age-appropriate).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality targets.
Required Skills
- Must be 16 years of age at the time of employment.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 40 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or similar fast-paced environment (voluntary or paid) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
