Job Description

As a Junior Editorial Assistant for Netflix Content Strategy, you will play a crucial role in supporting our content team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of digital entertainment, contributing to the strategic decisions that shape our global content library. You will assist with research, data organization, content review, and administrative tasks, directly impacting how our audience discovers and enjoys our diverse range of programming. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Content Strategy team with daily administrative and editorial tasks.
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitor content, and audience preferences.
  • Organize and maintain content metadata, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Review and provide feedback on content descriptions, synopses, and promotional materials.
  • Support the creation of presentations and reports for strategic content initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams, including marketing, product, and content acquisition.
  • Manage content-related databases and tracking systems.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information effectively.
  • Passion for film, television, and digital entertainment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Film Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience (internship or volunteer) in media, publishing, or entertainment.
  • Familiarity with content management systems or database tools.
  • Basic understanding of content strategy principles.
