Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Entry-Level Fast Food Expeditor to join our bustling team in Glasgow. As an Expeditor, you will be the crucial link between our kitchen staff and front-of-house, ensuring that all orders are accurately prepared, assembled, and delivered to our customers promptly and efficiently. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and is eager to learn and grow within the food service industry. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of food orders.
- Verify the accuracy of each order before it is sent out, checking for correct items, condiments, and special requests.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff regarding order status and any potential delays.
- Maintain a clean and organized expediting station, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with packaging orders for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery services.
- Monitor inventory of packaging materials and communicate needs to management.
- Help to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of operations during peak hours.
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns regarding orders with a polite and helpful demeanor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive customer experience.
