Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible way to earn money on your own schedule? Deliveroo is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Delivery Riders in Bath. As a self-employed rider, you’ll use your own scooter or bike to pick up orders from local restaurants and grocery partners and deliver them directly to our hungry customers. Enjoy the freedom of working when you want, with weekly payments and excellent support. This role is perfect for individuals who know their way around Bath, love being on the go, and enjoy providing great customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking up food and grocery orders from partner establishments promptly.
- Delivering orders safely and efficiently to customers' addresses in Bath.
- Using the Deliveroo rider app to manage deliveries, routes, and communications.
- Providing excellent customer service during every delivery interaction.
- Maintaining your own scooter or bike in good working condition.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Handling customer queries and ensuring orders are accurate and complete.
Required Skills
- Own scooter or bike (must be roadworthy and insured).
- Valid driving license (if using a scooter) or suitable identification.
- Proof of right to work in the UK.
- Smartphone with data plan (iOS or Android).
- Ability to navigate around Bath efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and carry delivery bags (up to 10kg).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role.
