Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Apple Inventory Specialist to join our team in Cheltenham. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of all Apple product stock within our back-of-house operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing products for the sales floor, and supporting our sales team by ensuring stock availability. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and accurately record all incoming Apple product shipments.
- Organize and maintain the back-of-house storage areas for Apple products, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy access.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare Apple products for display and sale, including unboxing, labelling, and transferring to the sales floor.
- Process product returns and transfers, ensuring correct documentation and system updates.
- Assist with stock rotation to minimize obsolescence and maximize product freshness.
- Collaborate with the sales team to fulfil customer orders and ensure timely product availability.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding inventory management, safety, and security.
- Operate manual handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.
Required Skills
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with inventory management systems or POS software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to lift and move boxes, and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail, warehouse, or inventory management role.
- Familiarity with Apple products and their packaging/handling requirements.
- Experience with stock auditing and discrepancy resolution.
- Valid UK driving license (desirable for potential inter-store transfers, but not essential).
