Job Description

Travelodge in Didcot is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Student Hotel Porters to join our vibrant team. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, ensuring a smooth check-in experience.
- Provide information to guests about hotel facilities, local attractions, and directions.
- Assist guests with various requests, including room service deliveries, laundry collection, and amenity provision.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of public areas, including the lobby, hallways, and entrance.
- Support the reception and housekeeping teams with ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with a friendly and efficient approach.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Basic physical fitness for lifting and carrying luggage.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Legally eligible to work in the UK.

- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role (even volunteer or casual).
- Familiarity with the Didcot and wider Oxfordshire area.
