Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Breakfast Server to join our vibrant culinary team. This full-time position offers an early start, ensuring your afternoons are free to enjoy all that St. John’s has to offer. As a Breakfast Server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus promptly.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve breakfast items and beverages to guests with professionalism.
- Ensure tables are set correctly and maintained throughout service.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any dining-related issues to their satisfaction.
- Process payments and manage cash/credit transactions accurately.
- Assist with clearing tables and resetting for the next guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold service excellence.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work early morning shifts (starting at 6am).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions.
- Positive attitude and a team player mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Experience with POS systems.
