Job Description
Join Hudson’s Bay as a Junior Fragrance Specialist and embark on an exciting career in luxury retail! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers in discovering their perfect scent, maintaining a beautiful and organized sales floor, and contributing to a positive and productive team environment. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers warmly, identifying their fragrance preferences and needs.
- Provide expert advice and personalized recommendations on a wide range of fragrance products.
- Educate customers on product features, notes, and proper application techniques.
- Achieve and exceed daily/weekly sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Maintain an immaculate and visually appealing fragrance counter, ensuring products are well-stocked and merchandised according to brand standards.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Participate in product training sessions and stay updated on new arrivals and industry trends.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock.
- Build lasting customer relationships through excellent service and follow-up.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for fragrances and the beauty industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Basic computer proficiency for POS operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience, especially in beauty or luxury goods.
- Knowledge of different fragrance families and brands.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to sales and learning.
- Fluency in additional languages is an asset.
