Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable HVAC Filter Maintenance Aide for a seasonal route. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for temporary work with a reputable company, providing essential maintenance services. You will be responsible for traveling to various client locations across Edmonton to perform routine HVAC filter replacements, ensuring systems operate efficiently and maintain air quality. This role involves working independently on a predetermined route and adhering to our high standards of service and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute scheduled HVAC filter replacements at residential and commercial properties along a designated route.
- Inspect filter housings and surrounding areas for cleanliness and report any unusual findings.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including filter sizes, dates, and any observations.
- Ensure proper disposal of old filters according to company and environmental guidelines.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, providing updates on service completion.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on client premises and driving company vehicles.
- Manage and organize inventory of filters and tools in the company vehicle.
- Collaborate with dispatch and supervisory staff to optimize route efficiency.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry filters and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a route-based service role or general labor.
- Familiarity with basic HVAC components or filter types.
- Customer service experience.
