Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Retail Finance Clerk to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. This is a crucial role responsible for supporting our finance operations, specifically related to retail credit accounts and transactions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and have a foundational understanding of financial processes. This role operates on a consistent Monday-Friday day shift schedule, offering excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile daily retail finance transactions, including payments, refunds, and account adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures, including report generation and reconciliation tasks.
  • Communicate with internal departments and external partners to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Prepare and verify financial reports, statements, and other documentation as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Support audit requests by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Identify and escalate potential issues or areas for process improvement within the finance operations.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
