Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Light Assembly & Packaging Assistant to join our production team in Banff. This is a full-time position with consistent day shifts, offering weekly pay. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the accurate assembly and packaging of our range of natural body care products, ensuring they meet our high quality standards and are ready for distribution. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent manual dexterity, and are committed to precision and efficiency. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training for all new hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform light assembly of various product components according to production guidelines.
- Accurately package finished products into boxes, containers, or display units.
- Inspect products for quality defects and report any issues to supervisors.
- Label and seal packages correctly, ensuring compliance with branding standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and material handling as needed.
- Operate basic packaging equipment after receiving appropriate training.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
Required Skills
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting (not required, but a plus).
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
