Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Recruiter to join our dynamic Human Resources team. In this office-based role, you will be instrumental in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top-tier nursing talent to meet the growing demands of our various healthcare facilities. This position requires a strong understanding of the nursing profession, excellent communication skills, and a passion for connecting qualified candidates with meaningful career opportunities within BayCare Health System. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle recruitment process for nursing positions, from sourcing to offer and onboarding.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other nursing professionals.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and present suitable candidates to hiring managers.
  • Build strong relationships with nursing leadership and hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide strategic recruitment advice.
  • Negotiate offers and close candidates, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Represent BayCare at career fairs, college recruitment events, and professional organizations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and recruitment best practices.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in nurse recruitment within a healthcare setting.
  • Proven ability to source, screen, and interview a high volume of nursing candidates.
  • Strong understanding of nursing roles, specialties, and healthcare environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in recruitment (e.g., CIR, CDR) is a plus.
  • Experience with specific healthcare ATS platforms (e.g., Workday, Taleo).
  • Prior clinical experience as a nurse.
