Job Description
This is an incredible opportunity for aspiring truck drivers looking to kickstart their career with no prior experience. Swift Transportation is actively seeking dedicated and eager individuals to join our team as Entry Level Truck Drivers. We provide comprehensive training to help you obtain your CDL-A (if you don’t already have it) and equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to safely and efficiently operate commercial vehicles. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any defects or issues.
- Transport goods and materials over various distances, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving activities, working hours, and delivery records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Manage freight documentation and ensure proper handling of cargo.
Required Skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no disqualifying violations.
- Willingness to learn and commit to a professional truck driving career.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Hold or be able to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).

- Prior experience in a physically demanding role.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance.
