Job Description
Join the UPS team as a Part-time Package Handler in our Gunbarrel facility! In this vital role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning packages within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from company vehicles, trailers, and conveyor systems.
- Sort packages manually or with the aid of automated equipment, ensuring proper placement for delivery.
- Scan package labels and record necessary information using handheld devices.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage.
- Operate sorting equipment, as needed, after proper training.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret package labels and handling instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or physically demanding role.
