Job Description

Are you an animal lover looking for an entry-level opportunity to work with pets? Friendship Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Cleaning Aide to join our team. This vital role ensures a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all animals in our care. No prior experience is required – we are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, a meticulous eye for detail, and a genuine passion for animals. Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas daily, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor the health and well-being of animals, reporting any unusual behavior, illness, or injury to veterinary staff.
  • Provide fresh food and water to animals according to established schedules and dietary requirements.
  • Wash and disinfect food bowls, water dishes, and other kennel equipment.
  • Walk dogs and provide supervised exercise/enrichment as needed.
  • Launder blankets, towels, and bedding.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and animal care essentials.
  • Assist with facility maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors.
  • Handle animals gently and compassionately at all times.

Preferred Qualifications
