Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Real Estate & Property Management Intern with a strong interest in commercial properties to join our dynamic team in Bromley. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of commercial real estate, including property management, asset management support, market research, and client relations. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to real projects and developing a foundational understanding of the commercial property sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist property managers with day-to-day operations of commercial properties, including tenant liaison, maintenance requests, and administrative tasks.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, comparable properties, and potential investment opportunities within the commercial sector.
- Support the preparation of property reports, presentations, and marketing materials for commercial listings.
- Help maintain accurate property records and databases, ensuring all information is current and compliant.
- Participate in site visits and property inspections to gain insight into commercial asset conditions and management.
- Shadow senior team members in client meetings and negotiations to observe best practices.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned, providing analytical and administrative support.
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn about the commercial real estate industry.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous relevant internship or work experience (even if not directly in real estate).
- Familiarity with property management software.
- Basic understanding of commercial leases and property valuation principles.
- A valid UK driving license.
