Job Description
Are you passionate about travel and creating unforgettable experiences for others? Concentrix is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our remote team as a Travel & Tourism Agent with a strong booking focus. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers planning their adventures, assisting them with reservations, inquiries, and problem-solving related to various travel services. This is a 100% work-from-home opportunity, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to a dynamic industry from the comfort of your home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding travel bookings and tourism services.
- Assist customers with booking flights, hotels, car rentals, vacation packages, and other travel-related services.
- Provide accurate information about destinations, travel regulations, pricing, and available promotions.
- Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations efficiently and accurately.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex cases when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in our systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with travel industry trends, product knowledge, and company policies.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service orientation and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software applications and web browsers.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and booking processes.
- Problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- High-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, call center, or a client-facing role.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems (GDS, CRS) is a plus but not required.
- A genuine interest in travel and tourism.
- Multilingual abilities are an asset.
