Job Description
Are you a motivated 15-year-old looking for your first job experience? H-E-B in Alamo Heights is seeking enthusiastic and responsible teens to join our team as an Evening Stock Clerk. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a dynamic retail environment, learn essential skills, and contribute to your local community. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our shelves are well-stocked and organized for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Stocking shelves with new merchandise and ensuring proper product rotation.
- Organizing and front-facing products to maintain an appealing display.
- Assisting with receiving and unloading deliveries.
- Checking product dates and removing expired or damaged items.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including aisles and stockrooms.
- Providing friendly assistance to customers when needed, directing them to products.
- Adhering to all store policies and safety procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be 15 years of age and possess the necessary work permit (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a volunteer role or school-related activity involving responsibility.

- Residency in Alamo Heights or a nearby San Antonio neighborhood.
