Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Podcast Transcriptionist to join our dynamic team. This 100% remote role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the fast-evolving world of podcasting. You will play a crucial role in making our diverse range of podcast content accessible to a wider audience, contributing to SEO, and enabling content repurposing. Beyond transcription, you’ll gain invaluable insights into emerging industry trends, popular topics, and key influencers across various niches, learning directly from the audio we produce. Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio content from various podcasts accurately and efficiently.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammatical errors, spelling, punctuation, and clarity.
- Ensure proper speaker identification and accurate time-stamping (if required).
- Research specialized terminology, names, and topics to ensure accuracy in transcripts.
- Adhere to specific style guides and formatting requirements for each podcast series.
- Manage workload and meet deadlines consistently.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
