Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Data Clerk to join our team in New Port Richey, Florida. This is a 100% indoor, computer-based role crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for precise data entry, generating reports, and ensuring the integrity of our inventory management systems. Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into the warehouse management system (WMS) and other relevant databases.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to inventory levels, inbound/outbound shipments, and order fulfillment.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes, escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for all warehouse documentation.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory processes, focusing on data accuracy.
- Operate various office equipment, including computers, scanners, and printers.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent data entry speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Familiarity with standard warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
- Prior experience in a data entry or administrative role within a logistics environment.
