As a Logistics Business Owner, you will lease equipment through XPO, gain access to our vast freight network, and benefit from comprehensive support to ensure your success from day one. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage your leased commercial vehicle(s) efficiently and safely.
- Plan and execute daily routes in accordance with XPO Logistics' operational standards and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of freight, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage all aspects of your business, including financial reporting, record-keeping, and compliance.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle maintenance and roadworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with XPO dispatch, support teams, and customers.
- Continuously seek opportunities to optimize operations and grow your business within the XPO network.
Required Skills
- Proven entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to run your own business.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic understanding of business finances and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all transportation regulations.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or willingness to obtain one quickly).
